[science fiction simulator] ... spend your Saturday afternoons in the
DSSTF Deep-Space Simulator-Trainor Facility, qualify as an officer upto
Captain, but it looks all too real for a simulator: You launch from Earth
to the edge of our Solar system, for deep-space rendezvous with Pluton
and whatever planets, space-clouds, gravity-singularities, aliens, and
the rest of our fleet are out-there.
The concept is that a thorough virtual training is concomitant to the developing reality.
The Simulator-Trainor Game shall be franchised available primarily
for large computers, and digitally displayed and archived on wide-screen
[2:1] stereo-eyes-ed disk and tape. The initial scenarios shall be space-path-selected
and derived from terastore harddrive, 4 megapixels/frame, wavelet-compressed,
digitized sound - and the final product released on 3D-HDDV/3DDV Disk. The
advantage of digital is its reproducibility for the future of both broadcast
and movie-house. Image generation shall be further enhanced and assisted
by state-of-the-art computer facility. The final result shall be viewable
stereo-eyes-ed
'3.5D' with white 'sexichrome' or polarized safety-goggles, and (more widely
available) HDDVideo, and standard (telecined celluloid) 35mm film, as well
as DVD/DTV and VCR.
The Game itself is a seven-player
simulator-trainor for tomorrows' deep-space astronauts to help NASA look ahead: In
the 1960's America went to the moon, and developed nuclear-powered space engines
with the thrust equivalent of the Space Shuttle's main-three running non-stop, for
going to Mars and beyond ... Now it's time to return to immanent domain, power, and glory.
Mr. Raymond Kenneth Petry, independent research scientist, is the author of

Inspiring and inspired by the
movie, the game is a franchisable simulator-trainor center for tomorrows'
astronauts. The franchise location is anywhere children and young adults
[PG/13] can congregate for hours at a local building center or shopping
mall. The franchise consists of a building complex, the game center entrance,
refreshments, reading-study room, dressing rooms, prep-auditorium, transporter
up-down room-facades, command bridge, and various staff-accessible connecting
tunnels and computing center ... nominally two-or-more-stories, one-or-more
Games running, locally [and internet] connectable for fleet-simulations.
The franchise Game Command Room is, much like Spring
Fling, capacitied for 7+3 persons ranking, Communications, Weapons,
Engineer, Sciencer, Navigator, Helm, Captain, plus 3 high-ranking observers,
Admirals, Fleet Officers, and famous guests: Weapons are computer-prompted;
the franchise Game Ranks are studied, practiced, and tested against computer
generated scenarios; Admirals are graduate Captains with frequent reserve-training
upgrade filling-in as acting-captains. The franchisements include officer
attire, coveralls, outfits, and ranks.
