| History is not our venue hereïn but the method of power set analysis illustrating the utility of the higher mathematics and logics to interpret records of thousands of years as we come across earlier interstellar man; The following exhibit is a proof-of-putting by locating the infamous civilization of Atlantis-Keftiu through its significant historic record: |

ABSTRACT: The sinking of the ‘Blessed Isle Of Atlantis’—actually happened… and, we know what it was, and, where and when it did…
Professors of Greek mythography will tell you that Plato’s Atlantis was the myth of Solon’s unfinished poem, an imaginary work that only in modern times have people taken its story seriously, where none did so in antiquity, (Mash-up-quoting multiple-various sources), But, reasons for its fault so shy of historical fact, vary wildly, and we can do better by taking the power set of Plato’s story and meriting what’s due: For example the Egyptians, knew better what the story was about: It was Egyptian priest Sonchis (*) who told, Greek statesman Solon—

In Plato’s recounting ‘The Blessed Isle Of Atlantis’, ‘twas home to a sea people who had tried to take control of Europe and Asia but, after ten years war with Greece, in a day and a night, sank into the sea taking both armies and sending earthquakes and floods across the Mediterranean, so quenching memory of the incident, thousands of years, except, in the records of Sais, Egypt:
Plate tectonics where the seafloor subducts whole islands, is very slow; Volcanic eruptions are fast localized terrors piling tsunamis over the hills of neighbor islands, but, crossing hundreds of miles of sea reduces that height to meters inundating coastlines: a thing to avoid; Subsea land subsidence, faults rising and sinking, can be much larger, but aside the immediate quake, take eons to complete a few meters each time … And yet one of many, earned the respect of the Egyptian priesthood: It was bigger-than big—where the major island of Atlantis slipped off the Aegean shelf, and sank into the Mediterranean… in a day and a night: Look at the bathymetric map and see the rubble for yourself—its telltale sign…
‘[…] a tale which, though strange, is certainly true, having been attested by Solon, who was the wisest of the seven sages (A Greek intellectual; by some, wisest of the most prominent four).
‘[…] In the Egyptian Delta, at the head of which the river Nile divides, there is a certain district which is called the district of Sais, and the great city of the district is also called Sais, and is the city from which King Amasis came (Ahmose II who ruled 20 years after Solon’s 590 BCE visit). The citizens have a deity for their foundress; she is called in the Egyptian tongue Neith, and is asserted by them to be the same whom the Hellenes call Athene (Inter-pantheon-god-politics); […Solon…] began to tell about the most ancient things in our part of the world-about Phoroneus, who is called "the first man (Possibly confusion that the first of Marduk’s genetically-mixed man aka man-kind was named, Adam, a few years before Unas was born named, Enoch)," and about Niobe; and after the Deluge (The historic Sumerian rain flood, or, a Greek-local flood, or, unbeknownst this very Atlantis-spawned day-of-flooding near-but-not-too Sais), of the survival of Deucalion and Pyrrha; and he traced the genealogy of their descendants, and reckoning up the dates, tried to compute how many years ago the events of which he was speaking happened. Thereupon one of the priests, who was of a very great age, said: O Solon, […] in mind you are all young; there is no old opinion handed down among you by ancient tradition, nor any science which is hoary with age. And I will tell you why. There have been, and will be again, many destructions of mankind arising out of many causes; the greatest have been brought about by the agencies of fire and water, and other lesser ones by innumerable other causes. There is a story, which even you have preserved (An aside on the Greek), that once upon a time Paethon (Sire-father Æton), the son of Helios (Ra? Utu Shamash? autc.), having yoked the steeds in his father's chariot, because he was not able to drive them in the path of his father, burnt up all that was upon the earth, and was himself destroyed by a thunderbolt (A fireball explosion). Now this has the form of a myth (By inference), but really signifies a declination of the bodies moving in the heavens around the earth (Greek geocentric view), and a great conflagration of things upon the earth, which recurs after long intervals (The Phœnix ‘Bennu’ Bird myth); at such times those who live upon the mountains and in dry and lofty places are more liable to destruction than those who dwell by rivers or on the seashore. And from this calamity the Nile, who is our never-failing saviour, delivers and preserves us (The Egyptian mindset). When, on the other hand, the gods purge the earth with a deluge of water, the survivors in your country are herdsmen and shepherds who dwell on the mountains, but those who, like you, live in cities are carried by the rivers into the sea. Whereas in this land, neither then nor at any other time (Cf Sais began after the next story), does the water come down from above on the fields, having always a tendency to come up from below; for which reason the traditions preserved here are the most ancient.
‘[… Whatever] happened either in your country or in ours, or in any other region of which we are informed-if there were any actions noble or great or in any other way remarkable, they have all been written down by us of old (Sais claims the most-complete records), and are preserved in our temples. Whereas just when you and other nations are beginning to be provided with letters and the other requisites of civilized life, after the usual interval, the stream from heaven, like a pestilence, comes pouring down, and leaves only those of you who are destitute of letters and education; and so you have to begin all over again like children, and know nothing of what happened in ancient times, either among us or among yourselves. As for those genealogies of yours which you just now recounted to us, Solon, they are no better than the tales of children (A rebuff on the unreliability of Greek history, and by induction subsequently Herodotus too). In the first place you remember a single deluge only, but there were many previous ones (In places); in the next place, you do not know that there formerly dwelt in your land the fairest and noblest race of men which ever lived, and that you and your whole city are descended from a small seed or remnant of them which survived (A thread in the Greek record). And this was unknown to you, because, for many generations, the survivors of that destruction died, leaving no written word. For there was a time, Solon, before the great deluge of all (Greek assumption), when the city which now is Athens was first in war and in every way the best governed of all cities, is said to have performed the noblest deeds and to have had the fairest constitution of any of which tradition tells, under the face of heaven (A Greek notional assumption).
‘[… The] goddess who is the common patron and parent and educator of both our cities. She founded your city a thousand years before ours (She may have been a 9000-year-type second-lineage god, whence her rise to challenge Duamutef in the east ca 3100 BCE, or, 700 ≈ 1000), receiving from the Earth and Hephaestus the seed of your race (The gods, especially the sons but also daughters mated with later better looking genetically mixed mortals), and afterwards she founded ours, of which the constitution is recorded in our sacred registers to be eight thousand years old (8590+ BCE but scholars know the Egyptian state started ca 3600 BCE, yet, misadding rulership years of Amun can tally 5000 years more: In estimating their years the Egyptians may have picked from the beginning of Amun Ra who first ruled with his consort Mut and firstborn son Khon-Shu at Thebes: Amun ruled 7000 years, then, as Ra, he left at 1000 years, leaving Thoth in charge; By assuming Ra’s 1000 years overlapped his 7000 years as Amun, and that he left 2000 years before Sonchis spoke to Solon on his visit ca 590 BCE, which fingered the era of the great Sumerian flood and the rise-to-power of Zeus, and, rounding-down-if-needed, as Egyptians do, allowing for state-building, he managed an additional 5000+ * years, to what scholars know should be only 3000, years earlier; Possibly this was diplomatic to avoid unnecessary sentimentality regarding that recent, pre-Mycenaean empire; Possibly, otherwise, they’d assumed the gods’ rulership years appended instead of overlapped, in a family dynasty; Possibly, they’d cross-listed to seasonal cattle censuses thrice per year… Neith was not known as a first-generation ‘Eye of Ra’, but there are gaps in their primordial record, and it is possible, for a 2nd-generationer to fill-in for 1st, cf Thoth outlasted his brother Ap-Shu who was murdered; But then again, Neith’s fame, as the mother of Sobek, and as the one who killed Duamutef in a staged fight, came only ca 3000 BCE or after: the Greek gods were refabrications).
* (alternatively he could have added Ra-Amun's 7000 years, to pharaoh Thutmose née 1554 BCE, after the Thira eruption—something had inspired pharaohs of that era to tag Thoth... but, assumptions lead to messier-assumptions: fource-great Thoth siring daughters again...)
‘[… A] mighty power which unprovoked made an expedition against the whole of Europe and Asia, and to which your city put an end. This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean (This may be a directional reference west-quadrant but from Egypt; and-but Plato's Greek read "Atlantic pelagous" which was a regional sea-arm comparable to the Adriatic, Ionian, and Aegean, pelagous, and smaller than the Mediterranean, thalassa), for in those days the Atlantic was navigable (For reaching Atlantis); and there was an island situated in front of the straits (Seven passages by six islands bordering the southern Aegean sea, or, all the islands within) which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles (Crete and, islands generally, appear by their mountains first, from sea level, as piles left in some Herculean task, four in the case of present-day Crete; Heraklion is a city of northern Crete); the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together (The islands-of: nearby Malta, Cyprus… cf Sicilia was larger; and Algeria in name means, islands; Albeit some scholars translate that it had a greater navy), and was the way to other islands (Not a trivial number, of islands, Nor verbiage for islands everywhere, But, The first major island passed, of either sea, to reach those, thousand, beyond Crete), and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent (Surrounding the islands; Opposite the Egypt-African continent; Not imagining global circulation passing immensely distant shores, but the immediacy beyond, the islands of the Aegean Sea, to reach that, near, continent) which surrounded the true ocean (The entire Mediterranean “Great Green Sea,” not partly the Atlantic oceanside lying outside; Implying definite knowledge of its extent and types and depths of wave action and navigation); for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles (The Greek’s sea-arm of three then, two recognized now) is only a harbor (Shallow, as the Aegean is, and, the Mediterranean is not), having a narrow entrance (15 mi. by Crete, cf the passage 10 mi. by Gibraltar), but that other is a real sea (So said to distinguish the harbor from the sea, not a sea from-another sea), and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent (Nobody had conquered to the North Pole and Far East). Now in this island of Atlantis there was a great and wonderful empire which had rule over the whole island and several others (e.g. Thira had had Minoan-Atlantean culture), and over parts of the continent, and, furthermore, the men of Atlantis had subjected the parts of Libya within the columns of Heracles (Splitting-off Libya as far as today's Libya-Egypt border -or- just the coast of Libya south-and-east-of, -or- colonial Aegean islands of Libya; lest Libya assume all of North Africa, and Atlantis be as big as two continents) as far as Egypt, and of Europe as far as Tyrrhenia (Etruria north-and-west-of; places to-be-subjugated). This vast power, gathered into one (Military impression), endeavoured to subdue at a blow our country and yours and the whole of the region within the straits (South, and West, and North the aggregate of Aegean Sea islands and East to coastal Anatolia); and then, Solon, your country shone forth, in the excellence of her virtue and strength, among all mankind. She was pre-eminent in courage and military skill, and was the leader of the Hellenes. And when the rest (Of Hellenes) fell off from her, being compelled to stand alone, after having undergone the very extremity of danger, she defeated and triumphed over the invaders, and preserved from slavery those who were not yet subjugated, and generously liberated all the rest of us who dwell within the pillars (Hellenes in particular especially if the lack of comma is important -or- reduplication -or- maybe mistranslating ‘this-side-of‘). But afterwards there occurred violent earthquakes and floods; and in a single day and night of misfortune all your warlike men in a body sank into the earth (Soil liquefaction, sink-holes; Their success had been to repel, invaders, back to-or-near Atlantis: not far from Greece), and the island of Atlantis in like manner disappeared in the depths of the sea. For which reason the sea in those parts is impassable and impenetrable, because there is a shoal of mud in the way (Live reports of revisiting the former island of Atlantis found its coastal shelf not entirely sunk; But importantly, it was not a complete blockage of access routes but in parts, Also the muddy water and floating trees and debris made bottom-sighting-navigation an impossibility); and this was caused by the subsidence of the island (It also damaged neighbor island shores even to the north as Crete rocked, but left no important survivors to amplify this).
‘[… To] make an end my preface, I am ready to tell you the whole tale. I will give you not only the general heads, but the particulars, as they were told to me. The city and citizens, which you yesterday described to us in fiction (Purportedly Socrates knew an earlier history of Greece but only as a fiction; The early concept of history was that the acts of gods and kings defined, cities, while collective lesser mankind made cities definite), we will now transfer to the world of reality.
‘[… Firstly,] nine thousand was the sum of years which had elapsed since the war (but which by Timaeus' eight thousand, nine would be the beginning of Hellas, not the sinking of Atlantis which we'll find nineteen-hundred elapsed before Critias; nine-plus-ten hundreds not nine ten-hundreds; somebody Greek was struggling to fix Solon's arithmetic) which was said to have taken place between those who dwelt outside the Pillars of Heracles and all who dwelt within them (Atlantis and its minion states outside, south, of Crete, vs. those of the Aegean Sea within, north; Before Sais was ever founded, or refounded); this war I am going to describe. Of the combatants on the one side, the city of Athens was reported to have been the leader and to have fought out the war; the combatants on the other side were commanded by the kings of Atlantis (Demigod sons of Sidon), which, as [I] was saying, was an island greater in extent than (ibid: Those of) Libya and Asia, and when afterwards sunk by an earthquake, became an impassable barrier of mud to voyagers sailing from hence (ibid: By the usual routes via the Aegean sea) to any part of the ocean (ibid: For awhile muddying all outlets into the Mediterranean). The progress of the history will unfold the various nations of barbarians (Berbers, North Africans, Ham’s side of Noah’s family) and families of Hellenes (Japhet’s side of the family in contrast) which then existed, as they successively appear on the scene;
‘[…] In the days of old the gods had the whole earth distributed among them by allotment (The division of lands by Noah, by lots, among his sons, 260 years after the Sumerian flood). There was no quarrelling; for you cannot rightly suppose that the gods did not know what was proper for each of them to have, or, knowing this, that they would seek to procure for themselves by contention that which more properly belonged to others (Noah had resorted to drawing lots, to get his sons to accept his approval of their divisions, but he’d also favored Shem’s allotment to the middle latitudes, and he may have used a device to force the outcome: as such tricks were reputed to his wife re Gilgamesh’s seven days of sleep and spoiling bread; But Noah’s process ignored the Egyptian side of the family for Ham and did not enforce the divisions when the land of Canaan was later wrongly assumed). They all of them by just apportionment obtained what they wanted, and peopled their own districts; and when they had peopled them they tended us, their nurselings and possessions, as shepherds tend their flocks, excepting only that they did not use blows or bodily force, as shepherds do, but governed us like pilots from the stern of the vessel, which is an easy way of guiding animals, holding our souls by the rudder of persuasion according to their own pleasure;-thus did they guide all mortal creatures (Greek baloney for the murders the gods did to themselves). Now different gods had their allotments in different places which they set in order. Hephaestus and Athene, who were brother and sister, and sprang from the same father, having a common nature, and being united also in the love of philosophy and art, both obtained as their common portion this land (Greece being northern land was allotted to Japhet the elder, Iapetos; This resets Athene to 2000, years, prior to Solon’s visit, But, perhaps, there is a saving grace in the word ‘Constitution’: It was understood by the Egyptians, that Ptah had created his children by thinking, about them, meaning, his mental-constitution he’d passed to Amun, ca 9000, years, prior), which was naturally adapted for wisdom and virtue; and there they implanted brave children of the soil (Cf the earliest gods were primordial, not of Earth), and put into their minds the order of government; their names are preserved, but their actions have disappeared by reason of the destruction of those who received the tradition, and the lapse of ages. For when there were any survivors, as I have already said, they were men who dwelt in the mountains; and they were ignorant of the art of writing (Cf Enoch after Jared, had been the first to learn writing, of Thoth, and had taught his sons, and Noah, who had taught their, sons), and had heard only the names of the chiefs of the land, but very little about their actions. The names they were willing enough to give to their children; but the virtues and the laws of their predecessors, they knew only by obscure traditions; and as they themselves and their children lacked for many generations the necessaries of life, they directed their attention to the supply of their wants, and of them they conversed, to the neglect of events that had happened in times long past; for mythology (Some say is unwritten, history) and the enquiry into antiquity are first introduced into cities when they begin to have leisure, and when they see that the necessaries of life have already been provided, but not before. And this is reason why the names of the ancients have been preserved to us and not their actions (Not,-well-preserved: cf Prometheus and Epimetheus, some say, meant looking-ahead and looking-out, but actually the-one-before-Matheus whose name they did not know nor even as Enoch which was not even his name and father-Matheus, the P-prefix implicating ‘sire’, cf Ap-Shu father-Shu, Ap-Sidon father-Sidon,…). This I infer because Solon said that the priests in their narrative of that war mentioned most of the names which are recorded prior to the time of Theseus, such as Cecrops, and Erechtheus, and Erichthonius, and Erysichthon, and the names of the women in like manner (Greeks rarely knew names: cf their four versions of names of the earliest gods, and Anubis would have been more ancient than those probable-‘mortals’ just named). Moreover, since military pursuits were then common to men and women (As ‘mortal’ pawns for the gods), the men of those days in accordance with the custom of the time set up a figure and image of the goddess in full armour,
‘[… There] was also a warrior class originally set apart by divine men (Demi-wargods: kings). The latter dwelt by themselves, and had all things suitable for nurture and education; neither had any of them anything of their own, but they regarded all that they had as common property (Harping on the Sumerian ‘era of wickedness: when every man stole from his neighbor’, before Noah’s Flood destroyed them); nor did they claim to receive of the other citizens anything more than their necessary food. And they practised all the pursuits which we yesterday described as those of our imaginary guardians. Concerning the country the Egyptian priests said what is not only probable but manifestly true, that the boundaries were in those days fixed by the Isthmus (The Cithaeron-Parnes-latitude: under Vega), […] a long promontory extending far into the sea away from the rest of the continent, while the surrounding basin of the sea is everywhere deep in the neighbourhood of the shore […], there has never been any considerable accumulation of the soil coming down from the mountains, as in other places, but the earth has fallen away all round and sunk out of sight (A hint to Atlantis’ situation too before the subsidence event).
‘[…] Yet, before proceeding further in the narrative, I ought to warn you, that you must not be surprised if you should perhaps hear Hellenic names given to foreigners. I will tell you the reason of this: Solon, who was intending to use the tale for his poem, enquired into the meaning of the names, and found that the early Egyptians in writing them down had translated them into their own language, and he recovered the meaning of the several names and when copying them out again translated them into our language (Name-association is desultory research for archaic history: a mere hint sufficing to inspire a researcher but not itself research; the ancients all tried and failed at such art). My great-grandfather, Dropides, had the original writing, which is still in my possession, and was carefully studied by me when I was a child. Therefore if you hear names such as are used in this country, you must not be surprised, for I have told how they came to be introduced. The tale, which was of great length, began as follows:-
‘I have before remarked in speaking of the allotments of the gods (ibid: Noah’s sons), that they distributed the whole earth into portions differing in extent, and made for themselves temples and instituted sacrifices. And Poseidon, receiving for his lot the island of Atlantis (Father-Sidon first-son of Canaan son of Ham, son of Noah, who received the southern lands including isles), begat children by a mortal woman (ibid: The offspring of the gods continued siring children by ‘beautiful’ offspring of mankind by-then of indistinguishably mixed genetics albeit notably not of godly longevity), and settled them in a part of the island, which I will describe. Looking towards the sea, but in the centre of the whole island, there was a plain which is said to have been the fairest of all plains and very fertile. Near the plain again, and also in the centre of the island at a distance of about fifty stadia, there was a mountain not very high on any side (Which, sunk with the isle of Atlantis and blanketed in sediments, should be detectible by deep-sea submersible).
‘In this mountain there dwelt one of the earth born primeval men of that country, whose name was Evenor, and he had a wife named Leucippe, and they had an only daughter who was called Cleito. The maiden had already reached womanhood, when her father and mother died (Maybe relevant); Poseidon fell in love with her and had intercourse with her (By the time Sidon began siring, 2-3 generations after the Sumerian great flood, it was commonplace that the gods -the original men- and mankind commingled in producing children: it was the era of the demigods, cf Gilgamesh who counted Utnapishtim Sumerian Zius Noah as a father before the sons of Noah kept human wives aboard the ark during the flood), and breaking the ground, inclosed the hill in which she dwelt all round, making alternate zones of sea and land larger and smaller, encircling one another; there were two of land and three of water, which he turned as with a lathe, each having its circumference equidistant every way from the centre, so that no man could get to the island, for ships and voyages were not as yet. He himself, being a god, found no difficulty (Spurious worship… mens rea) in making special arrangements for the centre island, bringing up two springs of water from beneath the earth, one of warm water and the other of cold (By spotty underground volcanism: well-known of the Aegean sea and along the perimeter), and making every variety of food to spring up abundantly from the soil. He also begat and brought up five pairs of twin male children (Twin production was frequent among the gods, partly because the family had been so inbred); and dividing the island of Atlantis into ten portions, he gave to the first-born of the eldest pair his mother's dwelling and the surrounding allotment, which was the largest and best, and made him king over the rest; the others he made princes, and gave them rule over many men, and a large territory. And he named them all; the eldest, who was the first king, he named Atlas, and after him the whole island and the ocean were called Atlantic (Reduplication; But scholars say that the name, Atlantis, is not given in the Egyptian text source, and Greek historians have declared Atlas’ lineage as of Japetus Iapetos, and his mother Asia). To his twin brother, who was born after him, and obtained as his lot the extremity of the island towards the Pillars of Heracles (Reduplication, Or specifically those on the island north side), facing the country which is now called the region of Gades in that part of the world (Reduplication), [… Listing …] All these and their descendants for many generations (Three-or-more ‘til Atlantis sank; They’d have started building before the division of lands) were the inhabitants and rulers of divers islands in the open sea; and also, as has been already said, they held sway in our direction over the country within the Pillars as far as Egypt and Tyrrhenia (Reduplication—from the Pillars—South-East as far as Egypt, North-West as far as Tyrrhenia).
‘Now Atlas had a numerous and honourable family, and they retained the kingdom, the eldest son handing it on to his eldest for many generations; [… Wealth …]; meanwhile they went on constructing their temples and palaces and harbours and docks. And they arranged the whole country in the following manner [… Designs e.g. they covered the channels of the triremes …]:
‘[…] In the next place, they had fountains, one of cold and another of hot water, in gracious plenty flowing (ibid: The Aegean shelf and mainland Greece, are volcanic); and they were wonderfully adapted for use by reason of the pleasantness and excellence of their waters.
‘[…] The whole country was said by him to be very lofty and precipitous on the side of the sea, but the country immediately about and surrounding the city was a level plain, itself surrounded by mountains which descended towards the sea; it was smooth and even, and of an oblong shape, extending in one direction three thousand stadia, but across the centre inland it was two thousand stadia (N.B. historical Greek stadion measure ranges by a factor of two, across the literature, and we don’t know which way a priori probably due to confusion between a stadium running stride and a soldier marching stride, or between a single-stride stance and a double-stride advance, if not the bigger the man the bigger his land, but, maybe, most likely, the geopositional naval measure unit at sea, 100 m, was converted directly to one stade [*PS], The shorter seems the likelier, and Crete with its sunken-and-lost original southern shelf plus some east, fits the shortest ratio fairly exactly: 160 mi. longitude by 120 mi. latitude, [*PS]; cf also Ger. Stadt). This part of the island looked towards the south, and was sheltered from the north (ibid: The sunken southern flank of Crete). The surrounding mountains were celebrated for their number and […].
‘[…] I will now describe the plain, as it was fashioned by nature and by the labours of many generations of kings through long ages (For two centuries). It was for the most part rectangular and oblong, and where falling out of the straight line followed the circular ditch. The depth, and width, and length of this ditch were incredible, and gave the impression that a work of such extent, in addition to so many others, could never have been artificial. Nevertheless I must say what I was told. It was excavated to the depth of a hundred, feet, and its breadth was a stadium everywhere (300 feet by the shortest standion); it was carried round the whole of the plain, and was ten thousand stadia in length (570 mi.). It received the streams which came down from the mountains, and winding round the plain and meeting at the city, was there let off into the sea. Further inland, likewise, straight canals of a hundred feet in width were cut from it through the plain, and again let off into the ditch leading to the sea: these canals were at intervals of a hundred stadia (6 mi.), and by them they brought down the wood from the mountains to the city (Requires locks or sluices or was just on the level portions), and conveyed the fruits of the earth in ships, cutting transverse passages from one canal into another, and to the city. Twice in the year they gathered the fruits of the earth-in winter having the benefit of the rains of heaven, and in summer the water which the land supplied by introducing streams from the canals (Perhaps oddly this is the same as the seasons in Greece: for he did not talk up in larger comparison the counterexample that the winter in Spain, by the Straits of Gibraltar, is said to be cold and dry).
‘As to the population, each of the lots in the plain had to find a leader for the men who were fit for military service, and the size of a lot was a square of ten stadia each way (207 acres), and the total number of all the lots was sixty thousand (The entire isle). And of the inhabitants of the mountains and of the rest of the country there was also a vast multitude, which was distributed among the lots and had leaders assigned to them according to their districts and villages. The leader was required to furnish for the war the sixth portion of a war-chariot, so as to make up a total of ten thousand chariots; also two horses and riders for them, and a pair of chariot-horses without a seat, accompanied by a horseman who could fight on foot carrying a small shield, and having a charioteer who stood behind the man-at-arms to guide the two horses; also, he was bound to furnish two heavy armed soldiers, two slingers, three stone-shooters and three javelin-men, who were light-armed, and four sailors to make up the complement of twelve hundred ships. Such was the military order of the royal city-the order of the other nine governments varied, and it would be wearisome to recount their several differences (19 men, of ultimately 100-200 persons in the royal lot based on modern arable-land-per-person expectations, the required furnishings being significant but fixed without consideration for expansion, would be a snapshot not a maximum: for they had operated maybe 200 years).
‘[…] Now the order of precedence among them and their mutual relations were regulated by the commands of Poseidon which the law had handed down. These were inscribed by the first kings on a pillar of orichalcum, which was situated in the middle of the island, at the temple of Poseidon, whither the kings were gathered together every fifth and every sixth year alternately, thus giving equal honour to the odd and to the even number (Probably one of Noah’s calendar reckonings: 11 years ≈ 136.0 moons: We know of his work at such arcana, for his years went wrong after the flood, nearly losing Abram whose father, or grandfather, was born too soon).
‘[…] Such was the vast power which the god settled in the lost island of Atlantis; and this he afterwards directed against our land for the following reasons, as tradition tells: For many generations, as long as the divine nature lasted in them, they were obedient to the laws (Greek baloney for tyranny lacking the original respect of law since Marduk’s Rebellion in the East, e.g. for greatmothers, sisters, wives, admitting no great council advisement whose elders were long dead or gone or had abandoned or avoided them as unfamiliar children, and the greatest of the lesser gods had expired probably murdered by his granddaughter within two decades following Noah’s Flood), and well-affectioned towards the god, whose seed they were; […]; but when the divine portion began to fade away, and became diluted too often and too much with the mortal admixture (Maybe referring to genetics, maybe to the inadequacy of such law), and the human nature got the upper hand, they then, being unable to bear their fortune, behaved unseemly, and to him who had an eye to see grew visibly debased, for they were losing the fairest of their precious gifts (Noah’s sons were purportedly blinded by demons); but to those who had no eye to see the true happiness, they appeared glorious and blessed at the very time when they were full of avarice and unrighteous power. Zeus (‘Made-Immortal’ Ziusudra: Noah), the god of gods (Last known of his kind—the great gods), who rules according to law (But without the two thirty-each Councils for guidance), and is able to see into such things, perceiving that an honourable race was in a woeful plight, and wanting to inflict punishment on them, that they might be chastened and improve, collected all the gods into their most holy habitation, which, being placed in the centre of the world (Apsu’s Kinaku counsel-chamber Upsukkinaku ‘Shekinah’ in the Persian range, else, Ziusudra’s own Dilmun Island atop the range, else Ptah’s Heliopolis, Egypt, else Elda the land of Adam’s nativity, else other), beholds all created things. And when he had called them together, he spake as follows-(*)

The Egyptians were aware of the path the sun takes—at the summer solstice rising 28° north of due east of Sais, passing 8° south of overhead, (purportedly overhead at Abdju Abydos the city of Osiris but that is at 26° which the sun passes 3° further south but nearly overhead compared to the tilt of the landscape), and then sets at 28° north of due west…. Their traditional-god-story became Ra’s sun chariot passing west over Abdju Abydos and turning north following the Duat oases, and eastward fending off Apep the sea-serpent-snake on the midnight sea, coming up in the east next morning—But, 28°WNW, points directly at south Atlantis also 28° north-angle -from Sais’ Nile seaport,- hence west is the ‘Atlantic’ zone ruled by Atlas, of the Mediterranean ‘true’ sea, (cf Thira Santorini Island is 48°NW and its explosion -not a sinking- occurring eight centuries later, during Moses’ Exodus of 1545 BCE, and its tsunami dissipated at inverse-distance made only 7 meters at Jaffa-Tel Aviv, Israel, says a tsunami researcher, was therefor not Atlantis)…. Scholars believe they’ve found the original Egyptian inscription for Solon’s story but that makes no mention of Atlantis by name but of the island as far as Keftiu (maybe originally ‘Kefti-Ur’: the Egyptians referred to archaic Sumerians by the Ur-suffix, cf Heru-Ur) likely the same as Biblical Caphtor, Kaptara (Crete Candia), but as a place that seemed to have disappeared; Atlantis was named for human-first-son King Atlas of Poseidon, (cf Egyptian Atlas ‘ntsw’; the Biblical lineage stops at sire-father Sidon son of Canaan, probably for its subsequent loss, possibly, for human-mixturing; Cf Greek used the prefix-Ur/Our: Our-Anos, Latin Ur-Anus, correlating to Anu Enos).
There’s an Egyptian story of antediluvian King Surid (Jared; son of Sahluk Sahaloe, Mahalaleel Malalel whose great-grandson was MTW-Shaluk Methuselah) who’d survived Noah’s flood and moved to Egypt with Ham’s sons: of him predicting a calamitous flood upon Egypt, greater than their yearly summer Nile flood, by declaring his nightdream of the Earth inverted, men falling off and stars falling (upto or men onto) with loud cries, reputedly 300 years before it occurred—and then ordering the building of the two Great Egyptian pyramids to preserve his record of science, Jared Marduk’s war-fame, and the first pyramid was to be for his burial but was ultimately never occupied, And as for the flood, he was probably lamenting the Sumerian flood 300 years before the Egyptian superflood in the year he died at the end of Unas’ time, 2345 BCE—
Unas the Slayer And Eater Of Gods whose reign was otherwise peaceful, and he wrote the first pyramid writings, (because he’d been the first to learn, writing: because he was Enoch returned after 70 years teaching Enos’ sons up the mountain in the east: where both were The Watchers In The East, as says the Egyptian record of him being the-god whom Anu’s son Wepwawet had taken up the mountain), had to sanitize the delta of a million dead gods bodies… The Sumerian flood had occurred in Enos’ time (cf Jasher the flood in the time of Enos two decades before his passing in year-1140), and, Surid Jared died in year-1422 (being the same year of the Egyptian superflood, and Unas’ report on the massacre, 2348 BCE, being a known estimate for the flood Moses mistook for the Sumerian flood, and equal to 2345 BCE, because, the Hebrew calendar, and the Bible, as the book of Jubilees says so, were measured in 364-day years: proof being its divisibility-by-7, the divine-number-technique that was given by Enoch who was the first to work out the calendar for Enos, the times and days and weeks and years and jubilees much to Enos’ approval because Enos found himself incapable of reconciling his granddaughter Ishtar’s years of daily sun-shadows cast from Enos’ mountain ‘heaven above’ upon the main Edin level ‘world beneath’, to his moons, so wrote Anu in a Sumerian letter, And 1422:1417, +2345 ≈3761 BCE).
Note also the twist of humor, in describing the boiling of young gods and burning the old gods: The Egyptian riddle-think, popularly attributed to the Sphinx, is answered, that, Unas began by boiling all, the bodies, till the flesh fell off, leaving their ‘old bones’ (old of boiling) which he then cremated—to remove the last evidence of the million gods having ever lived on the Nile Delta….
‘[…] Scholars pushing history back, place Ziusudra's flood hereby of (Adam+)1122, ca 2650 BC pushing Adam to ca 3772 BC, while Biblical scholars have long put Noah's flood to 2348 BC, which, taken as the Egyptian-superflood 300-years-later, does the same, 3770 BC,—and, which can all be finely adjusted to the commonly-correct, solar fitted, historical, calendars, as, 1118, 2643 BCE, 3761 BCE, 2345 BCE,—except that the Bible chronology after Moses is poorly known and seems possibly to have counted the Jubilean Biblical years as solar,-years…
‘[… The] sinking of Atlantis in a day-and-a-night with earthquakes and flooding,—Yet, for that to have resulted in a tsunami upon Egypt, would preclude Thira as the source: being 'shadowed' by the extensive island of Crete in the way; so the 'true' Atlantis would have had to have been on the nearside, of Crete: the main sinking tectonic platelet close-enough to have become a mud shoal in the subsequent era, before sinking into the depths, while Thira itself was a 1500 ft. tall round mountain, with no place for Atlantis to be... For the Atlantean-spawned-floods to have occurred with earthquakes a day and a night, but no report of fiery lava, flying rocks, smoky sky, bad weather for the year, as they did experience in the centuries-later Thira eruption, meant, it wasn't, Thira, but an earthquake or undersea-subsidence, and nothing frequent -as were plentiful-... a large subsiding chunk of the Aegean shelf falling into the Mediterranean sea—facing Egypt's shoreline [...] The superflood was mistaken as 'Noah's, that Egyptians didn't know because they, always, had, Nile, floods ... The tidalwave buried Nile Delta history [...] The reason for the abrupt age of the sediment seashells, is that, ca 9600 BC the ocean level rose abruptly and seashell-creatures thence grew further up the shoreline, and tidalwave runup or dredging crews scoured the shallows: Recency-dating, might provide a better estimate of when the silting event had finished,-occurring, except for further dredging; The pyramid exterior watermarks and interior salt encrustations could have come from anytime-later attempts to find the entrance by pouring seawater down the sides starting halfway up [...] The body found in Unas' pyramid tomb was of an old man, an old god,- yet Unas purportedly finished quite young […] and there was some turmoil of succession, and Egyptologists don't quite know where he came-from to begin and don't know the origin of one of his name-symbols, and don't know the origin of two wives... And the story of the slaughter itself seems upon-our-review entirely-accurate except for one,-tiniest detail: He didn't actually put the gods' flesh in his mouth, but rather was seen to wipe the sweat from his lips, which was humored as consuming by eating; Unas Wenis, last king of the Egyptian-fifth-dynasty, gained immortality by published writings: He ruled three decades and restored his father Osiris' respect-aka-worship and began writing history on tomb walls. Unas Ounas was probably Oannes who came from the gulf in Sumeria, after their, flood, and rebuilt civilization, (That of-course imputes Noah too, in Enoch's, post-600th years)....
Note also that Egypt and Crete shared a matching city name of, Herakleion, Egypt’s now buried in the submerged delta east of Alexandria ca 6th-7th-century-BCE… They were intimate—there was no, mysterious, location to be lost, but by natural events… And here we find them again….
*PS There are more potential evidences but remain to be excluded from alternative explanations:—the 14 ft. of sediment around the base of the pyramids, that has since been excavated, was, either, part of the construction method and left for a startling epiphany for anyone seeing the pyramids seem to rise out of the deep earth,—or,—was deposited by a colossally supermassive tsunami shore-buildup where the incoming and the outgoing surge waves piled a mile atop-each-other, rushing straight along the north shore of Libya and into Egypt, 400 miles, aimed at the Giza plateau—a huge natural event Sais as-always survived.... There is also purportedly an AD 1378/9 Jewish astronomical treatise that mentions an island that sank under the sea just 10° away, that'd be west of possibly the major seaport of Tyre—and which points directly at Crete.... And, there are corroborative scientific scraps from Plato and his contemporaries, possibly from Solon before them, that their mathematicians estimated the Earth's circumference as 400k stadia—as records Aristotle a student of Plato, and, Eudoxus purportedly one-such had estimated such... If, their methods were consistently, accurate, they'd have been using a shorter stade/stadion of exactly 100 m—deducible by comparison to our-contemporary estimate of 40k km in definition of our SI metric metre (on one specific circumference quadrant)—by which the measure of Atlantis would have been 300×200 km ≈ 185×125 miles by naval estimate... but subsequently in less than a century their standard stade was changed by Eratosthenes, to 0.100 mile 'walking' stade, and thereafter by the Romans to 1/8th (0.125) mile or 200 m—double Plato's value, and today's high-value: by foot....
IN SUMMARY—We have from the Greek, Plato (and Solon), a story that came from Egyptian riddle-think reinterpreted in Greek assumption-and-reduction-iterations-think exaggerating ad nauseam to nearly-worthless 2600-years since, except—the original sense be recovered as I have just shown you by power set analysis… Yet the awe of ‘man’ history is barely scratched.
It is never easy to convince others, of the truth, when myths are more exciting—The Atlanteans were destroyed by the Greeks, and the Greeks were destroyed by the island of Atlantis sinking, and historians long-in-the-myth destroyed the rest... But not entirely.
